Do you think Winston will give much effort to land the tournament? Seems like a good spot since it is close to ASU, Elon, UNCG, & relatively close to WCU fans. Put the women in the Annex and the men in the Joel. I think it would be awesome.

The bid process for the 2012 through 2014 tournaments is in the early stages. John Iamarino, the SoCon commissioner, said this week that information and bid packages have been requested by and sent to Asheville, Charleston, S.C., Charlotte, Chattanooga, Greenville, S.C. and Winston-Salem.

Tommy,
Have you heard anything about Winston’s efforts to land the SoCon Tournament in 2012? I hear they’re in the running.
