I think you should include Wes Timmons on your “minors” list. Wes played at ASU for two years and only transferred to Bethune Cookman to get noticed and was drafted. He came back to ASU to do his student teaching and get his degree. Currently he’s with Sacramento of the PCL and on “loan” to Midland of the Texas League. He had a very respectable career within the Braves organization. Also a very fine person and a big ASU booster.
