Christmas Dinner Out

The Journal will publish a listing of area restaurants open Christmas Day on Sunday (look for it in the Ask SAM column), for all of you who celebrate Christmas and won’t be roasting chestnuts over an open fire at home. Take a look - Chinese food is fine, but do you really want to act out A Christmas Story?

Here’s a sneak peak:

As usual, W/S Prime - the resident restaurant of the downtown Marriott - will be open on Christmas Day.

Print Works Bistro at the Proximity Hotel in Greensboro is a festive and beautiful place to eat. The menu includes a Christmas prix fixe for $33 - butternut squash soup with creme fraiche and fried sage, salad, Madeira-glazed ham with creamed spinach, braised leeks and mashed potatoes, and a slice of the ole Yule log.
