Let the Holidays Begin!

Yesterday, I was making pumpkin pies. While they baked, I pulled out the Christmas songbook and played a few tunes on the piano.

The smell of pumpkin pie wafted through the house, intermingling with the sounds of Christmas, and I was definitely getting in the spirit.

I thought to myself, “Here we go!”

In other words, the next six weeks will be full of good music, good food and good cheer.

Before yesterday, I had going about my business, doing all the normal preparations for Thanksgiving.

But yesterday it hit me how much I really love this time of year. How do I go 11 months without it?

I hope everyone else is getting in the spirit, too.

Let the holidays begin!
