Super Sunday at the Stove (and the TV)

I’m not a big football fan, but I always like to watch the Super Bowl.

My wife always asks me why I want to watch it, since I don’t follow the teams the rest of the season.

I always used to answer a vague “I don’t know” or “I just like it.”

I realized this year is that though I enjoy watching the game, the real fun of the Super Bowl is that it’s an excuse to cook lots of food.

Here’s what I made Sunday:

Hot crab dip
Meatball subs
Coleslaw
Garlicky potato skins
Brownies

I also made a loaf of the no-knead bread I wrote about Jan. 21.

I was in the kitchen all day, and on the couch all evening.
