Wine and Swine

Last week, I wrote about two guys from the Triangle who make a point of seeking out good barbecue, then writing about it on their very funny and somewhat irreverent blog, BBQ Jew. We recently had dinner together at Cook’s Barbecue in Davidson County, where the pork is delicious but the beef brisket is a unexpected and tasty, meaty treat. Highly recommended. You can find the story here.

And on Sunday, my summer day trip to a trio of Yadkin Valley vineyards was published in the Travel section. Check them out.
