anyone want to say something nice about coaching and development over a four year period? Well done staff, well done and thanks.

You know, I think that Ish is really underappreciated most of all as a defensive player. His quickness is not just apparent when he has the ball but when he doesn’t have it. He is so fast that he is able to get up close on whomever he is guarding and can recover if a guy starts to make a move or if he pulls up to shoot. Obviously he has made several steals and, incredibly, several blocks too. But the fact that he keeps whomever he is guarding from scoring or breaking loose so often is a real testament to how hard this young man works at both ends of the floor. I shudder to think what the Demon Deacons will look like without him next year.

Ish really has been unbelievable this season. You should have heard Marc Jackson talking about him when he was the commentator… and yes, Carolina would LOVE to have Ish on the team! Roy would drop anybody but Davis or his freshmen to make a roster spot for him

This season, I wouldn’t trade Ish for any other point guard. He is absolutely the straw that stirs our drink and he’s stirring it quite well this year! Keep up the good work Ish. I hope you run opposing defenses to death!

Nice article Dan. Ish obviously brings a lot to the court for the Deacons. What is even more impressive from what I have been told is his off-court persona, top drawer.
