riley skinner has given us a lot of thrills during the past 3 and a half seasons. i have since re located to atlanta and have a ticket to the game saturday at grant field. that being said, if there’s the slightest doubt of riley’s health, he needs to be held out.

The geographical center of NC is the Ashboro Zoo.
Were you referring to the UNC ZOO?
Glad you nephew is now fine except for his college experience.

Just read that article. Almost makes me feel a little guilty for enjoying watching football.

Sobering! A good friend of my youngest son and fellow player at Eastern Alamance was counseled to give up football due to repeated concussions. It was a difficult call because he was very good player. Wisely, however, he followed the counsel and went on to become a member of the Georgia Tech track team (perhaps All-Conference, I can’t recall). At any rate, it was the first time that I became aware of how serious concussions can be.
I really want Riley to play; but, no one would want him placed in any serious jeopardy. Hopefully this was his first, and last, concussion.

It’s also Zach’s birthday on Wednesday, Dan, so wish him well if you see him!
