IIRC, Wake had Miley on the radar until Skylar Jones committed. I think Coach Elrod put the PC coaches onto Miley at that point. It has been a tough transition for the Blue Hose since they changed coaches after the new guy who was lead them into D-1 quit and went back to HS athletics. The next new coach was named only thirty days before the recruiting deadline two years ago.

I talked with Grobe about this, but he wasn’t 100 percent certain on all the details. Wellman actually makes the schedule. I’ll find out more the next day or two and pass it along. I believe Tulane is still shaking out things from Katrina. These considerations are extended all the time among athletic directors, and I know Tulane will play Wake down the road.

I wanted to note that the PC mascot is a Scotsman, but the team is known as the Blue Hose.
