Dan and other music lovers.
If you haven’t already, take a couple hours break from football and go see the movie WINTER’S BONE. The story and casting/acting are terrific. The soundtrack is wonderful, including a haunting rendition of “Missouri Waltz”.Bet you’ll love it.
I am not surprised you and Hardin are good friends. You both appear to have unique perceptives on sports and life. I really enjoy reading you both.

Dan, you will be happy to hear that Wake Forest students still listen to The Band (or at least they did in 2004-2008). Thanks for the updates, love the blog and your articles.

Good columns from both of you this morning. Looking forward to three weeks from tonight. . . .

Enjoyed your column today. Mixing music and football is great and creative. The “Deacs” will not go 14-0, as we know, however from reports it seems they are a different type of team than from past years. This will be a very interesting season. If our young talent can produce early, we should surprise many people. Keep up the good info, Dan, I look forward to your article each day.
