I remember Bud Millikan’s players laying face down during time outs.

A funnier memory was the Deacon(I believe it was Bill Strickland), crawling the length of the floor, using his plunger as a rifle, as he crept up on the Maryland players.

In contrast, I remember a game in the 70’s at the old Memorial Coliseum when Coach Lefty called time when the Terps were being routed. The players ran to the bench. Lefty sat. The players stood. Silence ensued. Whistle blew. Play continued. Ah! The good ol’ days.
