The ole’ ball coach will no doubt get a pass. The good folks at BB&T wont approve the millions it’ll take to buy him out and the AD is too busy trying to figure out how to pay for the new press-box when all the seat rights holders bail out. I’m sure the explanation to the trustees will begin with ” It seemed like a good idea at the time”.

Over time this season this team has developed balance. The offense is now just as bad as the defensive side of the ball. I cannot help but believe that a one time AP National Coach of the Year does not have enough pride in himself to do something drastic to either right the ship after this season, ie., shuffle his staff, or admit, just like Bobby Cremins did who was anotehr good-guy in the coaching ranks, that maybe the game has passed him by.

Dan I have a question I need answered .
While watching the game on ESPN3 the guys calling the game continued to talk about how fit ,fast ,strong and powerful Josh Harris is and that he should be get more carries and be used more as an offences weapon .
Harris is a first down machine and is a threat every time he touches the ball.
Dan please give me your professional assessment of Josh Harris and how you think he could be used more at Wake Forest .

How far has Wake football fallen in the opine of football fans??? Wake’s games have now been relegated to ESPN3…no viable commercial network feels they provide enough interest to broadcast their games.

This of course keeps Wake off the radar of young high school players who may have been otherwise exposed to the school.

Give Grobe another year…another sub par performance and it is time for the WFU President to revamp the athletic department beginning with the AD! And BTW, time to renegotiate his contract…
