Andy,

When you get the hook out of your mouth, you’ll see my point.

Mike L,  the offense coordinator is the offensive line coach…

How about the play from Kyle Jarrett given his first opp to play - 5 tackles and 2 sacks. He looks to have the speed we need from a true OLB

Dan, 2 things:  1 - why didn’t we come out like we did w/NC State and play in the 2 minute drill/no or quick-huddle offense.  I thought that had been the new strategy beginning with NC State (although, I didn’t get to see the MD game, so maybe that plan was already abandoned).  2 - why does it seem like we still never throw the ball long.  Every throw still seems to be either to the flat or to the guy crossing 5 yards deep.  When it works, it works well - but when a team has found out how to stop it (as VT did in 06, and Clemson did yesterday) it seems pointless.  After Clemson went long on that one play (how did Bush not get that ball, by the way?) I just kept asking myself why can’t *we* do that more often (I know we did it once against Stanford).  I thought that this year we supposedly had the speed to go long more often instead of having to rely on little passes and runs.

If I am the offensive coordinator and I read those comments from the Clemson DE, I have a serious talk with whoever my OL coach is.
