Tanner certainly did not play well in the bowl game tonight. he doesn’t seem to play with much consistency..plus, the offensive coordinator’s lack of creativity hurts Tanner and the playmakers..Need changes at the top,

Would like to see a feature on Camp. He seems to always have some interesting things to say.

Dan,

I think that everyone at Wake Forest got a little excited by Tanner Price the first time we saw him throw a ball, as he certainly has a live arm.  But the first time I thought we might have something special was when you reported that Price’s primary objective over the previous offseason was to improve his footwork.

I didn’t care so much that Price was trying to improve his footwork as I cared about the fact that he had at least one tangible goal for his offseason last year.  My suspicion is that most college athletes approach their offseasons the way most college kids study.  This is to say that they put in the time working out, but they do not approach that work with a definitive plan or goal.  As a consequence, they might experience marginal improvement in performance, but they will not make significant strides in their development until they properly focus their efforts.  Hopefully Price’s (offeseason) practice habits are adopted by the rest of the team.
