I took my boys along with my dad to the game on Saturday, and I spent most of the game with both me and dad routinely starting at each other after each missed defensive pick up, or with each turnover, or each missed rebound. I hope all these Coach Buzz fans understand that there is a lot to be learned here with this team. We’ll see how they respond. Any basketball coach will tell you that we won’t win any games if we cannot rebound and turn the ball over so much. The ACC is just around the corner…uh oh…

Doug,
Your wish is my command. I too had heard something to that effect back during the negotiations. I just checked around and was told by someone who knows that the game will indeed be played at BB&T Field.

Dan I am giving you a new nickname—“Dan the Detective” ..There is a rumor floating around my work that the Notre Dame vs. Wake Forest football game will be moved to Panther Stadium. But still be included in our WFU season football ticket packages and prices. Please see if you can get a scoop on this?

Dan - the turnovers are still way too high. I was hoping that after the 2nd half against Iowa, they had gotten a hold of the turnover issue. Clearly, Tuesday night should have showed them that the key to winning is not turning it over. But it seems like they were back to their old ways on Saturday. Any hope that this can change?

McKie reminds me a lot of Travis “Scooter” Banks. Appears to have more of an outside shot than Scooter did, but the body type, rebounds, and effort are very similar.
Go Deacs and hope you enjoyed the cold ones buddy.

Great article Dan. I am glad Coach B is so positive…3 consecutive wins will do that, as will the prospect of adding a big body before the next game. It seems to me, however, that we have a lot of grief ahead as we face the conference schedule. Best to smile now while we can. That said, CJ does appear to be adjusting to the PG position more comfortably than anyone should expect.

Lots of critics out there on the coach. The one thing that impresses me the most is that we finally have a coach that knows X’s and O’s and can make an adjustment at halftime. In the past the other coaches would make the adjustments and we never had an answer. So far in this young season we have seen improvement and coaching adjustments. Good for us.

I’m glad, Dan, that exams have come at this time. My team has won 3 straight and that’s great but we have a young team that is impressionable and I don’t want them thinking they are the hunted. This team, to have success this year, must play every game as the hunter and exams give the coaches time to get and keep the team level headed. I think the exam break comes at a very good time.
