And in addition to laughing at ourselves, I recommend that we embrace other people laughing at us, because they are definitely going to do it.  Despite that, I plan to put on my Deacon clothes, put the magnets and the flags on the car and drive on over to BB&T.  I am now past the disbelief, the bargaining with our Maker, and all that.  I plan to have fun whether we win or lose from now on.  If you are reading this, you probably will too.  It is the passion that transcends explanation. GO DEACS!

No doubt things are serious in the Wake Forest camp. But sometimes we have to laugh even if we laugh at ourselves. A couple of things I have heard this week…not original.

1. Good News: Most of our football players will return next season.
Bad News: Most of our football players will return next season.

2. Someone broke into a car in Winston and left 2 WF BB season tickets.

...Clemson is a difficult matchup for Wake, they are everything we are not…physically dominating, not overly cerebral…they are the closest thing we have to a SEC team in the ACC, albeit an underachieving one. Jacoby Ford is playing lights-out at Oakland..or has the last few games, better than Darius Heyward-Bey…he was really under-utilized at Clemson.

Good article Dan. Good questions and very candid answers from Larry.

I do hope our coaches have a good game plan to offset the advantage the Tigers will have across the D-line. Especially on pass plays.  If they don’t it will be another long day.

Just wondering, that it may be time to go back to the option and give Stachitas and Jones some snaps.

Look forward to seeing your answers to Larry’s questions.

When Tommy Bowden brought his last team up here, we beat him and he was toast.  I’m hoping that history will repeat itself, at least as far as the first part.  I really think we can win this game.  Price has to have time to throw and he’s got to be allowed to throw downfield.  Of course, that means the OL must “cowboy”  up and Price has got to make good decisions.

Awesome stuff, Dan.  It’s interesting to know that a loss to Wake Forest is automatic grounds for firing a coach again.  I enjoyed those three years when that wasn’t the case…

I’d be interested to read your responses to his questions too - presuming his questions to you differed from ours.
