Dan, thanks again for the great home-team coverage. I am really enjoying the blog.

That game was a classic! I NEVER felt comfortable enough to sit back and relax, thinking the Deacs had the game!
But I will say two things about how I felt during the game. One, I saw Tim Duncan in Chas McFarland! Outplayed Hansbrough and stayed in the game until the end! Vintage Duncan! Two, I didn’t see Jeff Teague, I saw Randolph Childress. I swear, that was Chill reincarnated out there! I usually just call him Jeff but lately, I’ve been calling him CJ for “Chill Jr”! This entire team and its coaches are REALLY making me proud to be a Demon Deacon! This is a win that shuts up all my friends from that “other place”!
In closing, “Thanks guys! That was phenominal”!! However, it was just one win and there’s 15 plus games left in the season. Time to forget it, get back to business and get ready for BC! They’ll be looking for us so you have to be ready!
GO DEACS!

Good stuff Dan. Jeff & Chas both were amazing lastnight.

Dan:
That was a classic game—I thought both teams played well—Carolina knew what the game meant to them, as well. Tony Woods had some invaluable minutes along with Chas, I thought. Very good minutes for a freshman not named after Nigerian royalty.
And Dino was just as gracious on the quad just before midnight last night as he was on the PA system after the game.
I hope the team stays focused for BC though—we’ve never beaten them—ever—and going up there to face them coming off of two straight losses won’t be easy. I hope Dino doesn’t let them forget how we struggled down the stretch last year after the Duke game. They can’t let last night be the highlight of the season.

Thanks for staying up late and writing on the blog. Not a lot of national coverage on our game with the NFL playoffs taking the spotlight. Big win for Wake. It is always fun to beat the Tarheels.
Go Deacs
