Hey Dan - thanks for getting all of the great behind-the-scenes information on Coach Grobe’s thoughts (and thanks to Coach Grobe for giving it!). I have three questions for you.  First, is Coach Grobe concerned at all with rattling Ted Stachitas’ confidence by talking so much about how Tanner Price could get the QB job if Ted falters?  (I know that Coach Grobe wants to motivate Ted to do well, but I also know that these are still young men who sometimes need to have the coach’s confidence in order to succeed.)  Second, I know that Coach Grobe has said that if Ted doesn’t perform well that he will give Tanner a shot.  Do you have a sense of how short the leash is?  Lastly, do you know if Wake has any kind of Wild Deacon formation to implement with Skylar Jones at QB?  (I hope they do if only so that the announcers can use the phrase “Wild Deacon”!)

Grobe discussed the issue in depth, and I wrote about it for tomorrow’s Journal. The short version is that if Stachitas doesn’t get the job done, Price is next up.
