I am so embarressed to be a Deacon right now. I was walking out of the arena and people were laughing at our team. If this is not enough for Ron Welman what in the world does he need? Once again a simple 2-3 zone and the bad thing about it, he had to know it was coming. I just wish someone would tell me what happened. We look scared, tentative, lazy, careless and it appeared they just wanted to quit. Our own Stan Cotten and Dinger said on the radio why don’t they throw in the towel. It was 5 Minutes to go.
If anyone is interested in getting a petition together for removing Dino and his staff I am ready.
These players clearly were not prepared.
Three years in a row. I wonder if Dave Odom is willing to come out of retirement?

Refreshing to hear a player that has the maturity to embrace his current role and still be hopeful about his chances at a bigger role in the future. Hopefully it works out for him.

Looking for some good things out of Walker next year. Really like the kid and hope things will work out for him his next 2 years at Wake. Really think he can be a star alongside Woods if those guys put in the time and effort it takes to get there. Should be an interesting year next year.

Dan,
Superb column re Walker. Sorta like someone said in arguing a case to a jury:
“...all in your hands now.” next year for Walker. That’s the message I take from your reporting anyway.
