Dino Gets Wish: Game Will Be Played Saturday

Blizzard or no blizzard, there will be basketball played tomorrow in Charlottesville.

Ahtletics director Craig Littlepage of Virginia has just announced that Wake Forest’s game against the Cavaliers will be played Saturday at noon as planned. It’ll be interesting to see how many people can make it to John Paul Jones Arena, given the couple feet of snow they’re expecting on the ground by tomorrow morning.

Littlepage warned those having to travel to car to watch the game on television instead, but said that any students or members of the staff or faculty would be admitted.

The game will be televised by Raycom. I’ll be watching.

Wes,
I know Dino wants to get home tomorrow. Whether he can or not, nobody will know until at least tomorrow morning. That’s one thing I’ll be asking when I talk with him after the game.

Any news on how and when the team plans on getting home?
