Take on Wake Live: The Replay
Michael, the short answer is he’s the fourth center on the team mainly because he needs more strength and bulk to hold his own underneath. Dino said last week that Ty and Nikita Merscheriakov, the transfer from Georgetown, are on a completely different weight-lifting routine from the rest of the team and are lifting four times a week. Also Ty is playing with the scout team to get more work in practice. I posted a blog on Nov. 16 that might fill in some gaps.

I really enjoyed reading through the live chat. I wish I had known it was happening. You spoke very briefly about Ty Walker, but can you expand on him or point me to a previous blog entry that speaks to why he seems to be permanently affixed to the bench. I do not want to point out his faults, but am curious about what has landed him in the dog house.

Was wondering if you had any info on if any football players enrolled this spring and will be participating in spring ball.

Thanks for a lot of jobs well done. Enjoy the blog and the articles(for many years). Being far away from Wake makes your insights and info even more fun. You are part of my daily schedule.

Dan, thanks for your work today—both chat and blog. Great information delivered in a very enjoyable way. Good work.
