What Edwards Drives
John Edwards drives a silver 2007 Ford Escape hybrid.
Curious from my conversation yesterday at the Des Moines airport, I decided to ask the Edwards people to clear up the matter, and they knew the answer right away. The Escape is an SUV that gets over 30 miles per gallon. The 2007 model had a base list price of $25,655.
Of course, Edwards himself hasn’t been driving it much lately. While he’s on the campaign trail, he normally travels on a big, blue bus called the “Main Street Express.” At least it’s not a helicopter.
