JournalNow.com: Veggin' Out
Contrary to a popular stereotype, vegetarians are not all champions of self-denial, pathetically munching a sprout on the sidelines while watching the omnivores have all the culinary fun. I sorely miss the Rainbow, too. Winston-Salem just isn’t the same without it.
I haven’t tried Christopher’s. Looking at its menu when it first opened, it didn’t seem to have many vegetarian options. Do you find it veggie-friendly?

Love the bbq and slaw samich at Mary’s. Makes me pine for the old Rainbow days too. Christopher’s may be good, but hard to replace the old Rainbow News & Cafe!
