JournalNow.com: Veggin' Out
Contrary to a popular stereotype, vegetarians are not all champions of self-denial, pathetically munching a sprout on the sidelines while watching the omnivores have all the culinary fun. i have never stopped eating spinach. walk on the wild side people!! Most people could get the E. Coli from their own counter tops that they don’t clean after prepping dead animals on it. I bet your chance of catching it from spinach is a whole lot less than that!

I’m with you - is the convenience of prepackaged spinach worth the risk of becoming ill with a potentially fatal E. coli infection? What is the spinach industry doing different now than it was before the outbreak? There are still a lot of questions to be answered.
